Spring!! Yay!!

I am so glad it is finally starting to warm up...we have been playing wayyyy too much wii around here. This past weekend was great- It was so nice outside on Friday that we got to go to a playground with all our friends in shorts and short sleeves and man you have never seen such white legs... Saturday was gorgeous as well-we had some friends over for a barbecue-it really made me look forward to summertime.

Caitlin had her first soccer game on Saturday; unfortunately our team did not win but Caitlin played really well and had a wonderful time:

Hannah enjoyed the game as well; she kept herself entertained by finding creative ways to sneak onto the field when Mommy and Daddy were trying to watch Caitlin. 

Matthew had his second practice on Friday night and loved it-he is great at hitting and shortstop-and also at being the team clown...he's always doing something crazy to get the other kids to laugh!

Grandpa rode his motorcycle in on Friday to have lunch with Ben, Hannah and me...it was wonderful.  The weather was perfect, the tea was sweet, the conversation was nice and the time was too short!  Hannah loved the motorcycle, but wished Grandpa would let her take it for a joyride. 

 

Gotta run now, but I'll leave you with a little reminder of what makes Sundays in Lent so wonderful...Here are Pea and Matthew pigging out on some chocolate ice cream.  Baths followed soon after....
